Updating ddns status
My password (for Tunnelbroker) and my DNS key (for HE) are correct as far as I know (I double-checked both).
Dynamic DNS (DDNS or Dyn DNS) is a method of automatically updating a name server in the Domain Name System (DNS), often in real time, with the active DDNS configuration of its configured hostnames, addresses or other information.
These mechanisms are explained in RFC 2136, and use the TSIG mechanism to provide security.
The second kind of dynamic DNS permits lightweight and immediate updates often using an update client, which do not use the RFC2136 standard for updating DNS records.
Initially the tool was designed to update IP address only on No-IP DDNS provider.
I have seen a number of the posts and followed threads but after trying various permutations, resets, the HH5 resolutely returns "connection error" when connecting.
If you have connected a router and it has internet access you will see A record resolved for cloud.in '/ip dns cache'.
To enable and activate this service: [[email protected] Tik] /ip cloud set ddns-enabled=yes [[email protected] Tik] /ip cloud print ddns-enabled: yes update-time: yes public-address: 184.108.40.206 dns-name: 529c0491d41status: updated If set to "yes" then router will send an encrypted message to the Mikro Tik cloud server.

When user set /ip cloud set ddns-enabled=no router will send message to server to disable DNS name for this routerboard.
